Senior college athlete Justin Cobbs has been sidelined for at least 6-8 weeks after suffering a broken foot on the court. Cobbs, who broke the fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot, will undergo surgery to have a screw inserted into his foot according to Coach Mike Montgomery.
“No guarantees with the feet,” Montgomery said, “But that’s the smartest course of action and the quickest way to get back. He’s anxious to get going.” Until Cobbs returns, sophomore Tyrone Wallace as well as freshman Sam Singer and walkon Garrett Galvin will be taking Cobb’s position.
