LeAnn Rimes has Mysterious Foot Injury

everyday foot careCountry singer LeAnn Rimes was spotted in Hawaii recently with bandages wrapped around her right foot and ankle for unknown reasons. She was seen swimming in the ocean without the wrapping the day before, raising speculation that the injury may have been sustained during that time.

Rimes is currently filming scenes for her upcoming reality show with her husband, actor Eddie Cibrian. She didn’t appear to be in any pain while she walked around the island with a serving of ice cream in her hand.

It just goes to show the importance of everyday foot health. For further consultation on the matter of daily maintenance, it is a good idea to seek out the care or advice of a licensed podiatrist like Dr. Zahid Ladha, F.A.C.F.A.S. of Foot First Podiatry, to aid you, advise you, and care for any foot injuries or problems you might experience.

Every Day Foot Care

Often, people take care of their bodies, face and hair more so than they do for their feet. But the feet are a very important aspect of our bodies, and one that we should pay more attention to.  It is best to check your feet regularly to make sure there are no new bruises or cuts that you may not have noticed.

For dry feet, moisturizer can easily be a remedy and can be applied as often as necessary to the affected areas. Wearing shoes that fit well can also help you maintain good foot health, as well as making it easier to walk and do daily activities.

Also, wearing clean socks with closed shoes is important to ensure that sweat and bacteria do not accumulate within the shoe. Clean socks help to prevent athlete’s foot, fungi problems, bad odors, and can absorb sweat.
